1.  Read the following statements about art.
2. Choose one and consider the type of statement made; the concepts that need to be clarified, what is assumed about art, art criticism, aesthetic experience, or beauty. 
3. Research the person that made this statement. Who are/were they and what contributions to art/theory/philosophy did they make? 
4. Write at least 5 questions that would be appropriate dialogue starters.
