What is Art: New Perspective Above Expression
My opinions on art has somewhat remained the same. Art can certainly not be explained in one word, nevertheless a sentence. If one were to describe the term in a sentence, one would contain the description of whomever’s personal thoughts and opinions on that particular subject. In all matter it is climactically impossible to define Art in a single sentence. Art is a general and controversial subject that if you were to define it, one may disagree to your statement. Depending on the belief and or background of the person art will be seen in a different type of view. When you ask one to define art some will say that art is a form of self entertainment, others will say and believe that art is a form of self expression. Although both those statements and interpretations of art is relatively true, common people lack the vision of the use and practicality of art in the early days. I have learned that individuals may deny that a simplistic painting, or a ready made altered is considered art.The idea behind the simplistic art is to create a discussion and achieve an interest in the person whether it is complimenting or criticizing. The different types and forms of one's personal and philosophical aesthetics, such as the idea of aesthetics associated with the person's ability to view art and put their own structured standards of what is considered art for them is the overall outcome. The personal self enjoyment of art, which helps us understand the different understandings and perspectives of art.
When we associate art with culture, ethnicity is a major influence in all art works. Defining and interpreting the culture of art majorly depends on the cultural background of the person. People from all different parts of the world seek to find and understand the meaning of others art works from unfamiliar countries. The time in history is also a contributing factor of how people are going to speculate and have an outlook on it. Art could be used as a piece of self enjoyment or as a resource to be used, depending on the ethnicity and background of the person or the country it was created in. This view on cultural diversity falling under the influence of aesthetics describes the relative idea of the understanding of art depending on what your background consists of. The ethnicity one contains and is born with results in the outcome of how your thoughts work. Another type of view on art falling under the category of age would be the idea of age development. The different stages a child goes through in life mainly depends on the curiosity of the child and their philosophical views on art.
Although art can be seen in different ways, the ideas of aesthetics associated with age and ethnicity and the personal self enjoyment of art is typically overlooked by people. Self expression is the one word people tend to associate with the term art, but in reality people don't realize that self expression is less than a fraction of what art can truly be described as. Ultimately Art is the creation of something that has a deeper meaning. The emotions that the particular artist is feeling at the moment, and even the controversy the artist wants to create during the creation of art. Art can be anything, it only takes the creator who is creating it to give it meaning and it is called art. That specific individual who thinks of their work which is being created is automatically considered art. Over the course of history art started out minimal , became complex and now is minimal. The ideal acceptance of society in that current moment will determine whether or not it is considered art, yet it always was art to begin with. Overall the basic understanding of the term “Art” will forever be a complex word to define, as it ultimately means something different and unique to everyone who defines it.
