So, here is the final break down of how the weighting of 2nd semester are going to be. 

Class work:   15%
Homework:    30%
Participation: 10% (this will be calculated at each progress report based on how many UNEXCUSED absences you have and   
                                    an evaluation on yourself- 4 per semester)
Projects:         10%
Tests/Quiz:     35%

Yes, your tests are worth more and yes, your homework is worth more. I give PLENTY of time to do things in class but if I don't see you actively listening or having the right materials (like your book, flash cards...) then your participation grade is going to go down. I'm taking notes!

Sorry for not being there with you today :( I missed you guys!

• Everything you need for Ch.17 is already up and good to download/print. I hope that you were all good today for the sub and that you got lots of work done! I will pass out your study guide and crossword puzzle tomorrow. The Overview is ready to print. I'll also add the study guide to the chapter page tonight.
