Early Renaissance quizzes have been graded for Period 3!

Period 5...still workin' on yours but I'm getting there!

EDIT 1/3/13: First batch of research paper grades are now in GBW for Period 3. A lot of them are graded but I'm slowly inputting. Sorry Period 5- you're going to have to wait a little bit longer.
EDIT 5:05pm: Second batch is out period 3! 18 more to go. I also realized I left some at school that I wrote grades in but don't have them here with me. Those will be out on Monday.
EDIT 1/4/13 8:16pm: Third batch is out Period 3!
EDIT 1/5/13 11:35am: Period 5, your research papers are being inputted today and tomorrow! Finally!
EDIT 1/6/13 11:30am: Period 5, first batch out! Look for more after lunch time. 

Side Notes: I've been spending time with family but also have been lucky enough to get away from your research papers to see some movies out right now! My thoughts to share with you.

Les Miserables: Excellent! Beautiful music, amazing costumes- fantastic actors, gorgeous color pallette! The cinematography should not be overlooked. Personally, I didn't get really into the film until the French Revolution started. I cried a lot. 

Lincoln: WOW! Daniel Day Lewis totally makes Abraham Lincoln come to life. The make-up is incredible. You really get a sense for Congress at this time and Lincoln's battle with the passage of the 13th Amendment. Love a good historical film!

Django Unchained: AMAZEBALLS!!!!! I can not say enough about this. Quentin Tarantino is a GENIUS! (as always) I know there was a whole controversy concerning the over use of the "n-word". I didn't think so, though it is used a lot, but not in a way that is disrespectful because truth-be-told, people were disrespectful during the time of slavery. It is gory at times but what Tarantino movie isn't? Jamie Foxx is fantastic (his best performance yet), Leonardo DiCaprio sooo deserves this Golden Globe nomination, and you fall in love with Christoph Waltz's character. Best movie I've seen in a long time.
